At Church in the Country, we know visiting a church for the first time—or even the first few times—can feel overwhelming. You may have questions, wonder where to start, or simply want to know how to get more involved. That’s exactly why we’ve launched Pathfinders—a brand-new ministry designed to walk alongside people who are new or looking to find their place here.
Pathfinders are here for you.
They’re not just greeters or volunteers—they’re connection guides. If you’re new to CITC, your Pathfinder will be someone who reaches out, checks in, and helps you take real steps toward becoming part of the church family. From answering questions and introducing you to others, to helping you discover small groups, Bible studies, or places to serve—Pathfinders make sure no one has to figure it out alone.
It’s all part of what we call “The Country Mile.”
This isn’t just a booklet—it’s a journey. The Country Mile outlines who we are, what we believe, and how you can move from visiting to belonging. Your Pathfinder will personally walk through it with you—not all at once, but over time, at your pace.
Here’s what to expect:
A warm, friendly connection with someone who’s been where you are.
A casual meet-up to go over The Country Mile booklet together.
Help finding the next step that fits your life—whether it’s learning, serving, or simply connecting.
If you’re new, your journey starts here—and you don’t have to take it alone.
Want to get paired with a Pathfinder? Just fill out a Connection Card this Sunday, and we’ll take it from there.
Welcome to Church in the Country. Let’s walk the mile together.
