Erika Akin has been serving as the Administrative Director at Church in the Country since 2022. She brings a strong blend of leadership, organization, and real-world experience into the life of our church—handling everything from finances and business operations to the day-to-day administration that keeps things running smoothly.
Before stepping into this role, Erika served in multiple ministry areas at CITC, including leading our Kountry Kids ministry and continuing to play a key role in Backroads Students. Her love for children and students is at the heart of everything she does, and she’s known for jumping in wherever needed with joy and commitment.
Erika is married to Allen Akin, who also serves faithfully at CITC, and together they have two daughters, Cheyenne and Virgie. Erika brings years of professional experience from the banking industry, adding financial wisdom and administrative strength to our church team.
She’s a vital part of what makes Church in the Country not just work—but thrive.
