Jordan Wilson is the founding and lead pastor of Church in the Country in Woodville, Texas. He launched the church with a clear and compelling vision: to create a place where country people feel at home, encounter Jesus, and grow in faith—without ever settling for less than God’s best.
Since launching, Church in the Country has grown steadily—expanding its impact, adding new ministry opportunities, and operating debt-free. Jordan leads the church in preaching, vision, and spiritual direction, while staying deeply connected to the people and culture of the community.
He holds a Master’s degree in Theology and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Finance. Before starting CITC, Jordan served in a variety of pastoral roles, developing ministries focused on outreach, discipleship, and leadership.
Jordan is married to Emily Wilson, and together they have two children, Kennedi and Grant. As a family, they are passionate about building strong roots in rural Texas and serving the next generation.
When he’s not preaching or investing in people, Jordan enjoys coaching youth baseball, following high school sports, spending time outdoors, and cheering on his favorite teams—the Dallas Cowboys and Houston Astros. Whether he’s behind the mic, on the ballfield, or catching a game with his family, Jordan stays grounded in his calling to reach real people with real faith—right here in the country.
