Pattie Myers has been serving as the Chief Ministry Assistant at Church in the Country since 2022—and if something’s happening at CITC, chances are Pattie is a part of it. From greeting guests at the Connect Desk to organizing events, managing details, and filling in the gaps, she plays a vital role in nearly everything we do.
Pattie is the ultimate catch-all team member—faithful, dependable, and willing to do whatever it takes to help people feel welcomed, cared for, and connected. Her servant’s heart and joyful presence help create the warm, down-home atmosphere our church is known for.
Before joining the staff at CITC, Pattie had a long and impactful career in education, serving for many years as a teacher. She and her husband, Doc Myers, have dedicated their lives to building people—he through his work as a superintendent of schools in several local districts, and Pattie through the classroom and the church.
Pattie loves her family, loves to cook (and she’s great at it), and has a natural gift for making people feel at ease. She’s a behind-the-scenes difference-maker and a key part of what makes Church in the Country feel like family.
